Sente - Mac OS X only. Commercial bibliography software. As the developer says, "It's like iTunes for academic literature". This really does blow every other related product out of the water, both in terms of ease of use and speed. On a 400MHz G4 it is easy to maintain a database of a few hundred references (all linked to the relevant PDF) and it is still quick enough to be useful. Finally, the developer replies to problems personally, which is useful when problems do occur.
